Refuge believe that every woman and child experiencing domestic violence has different needs and there is no single package of services to meet those needs.

Refuge offers a range of services which gives women and children access to professional support whatever their situation.

Women's Aid is the national domestic violence charity that helps up to 250,000 women and children every year.  

Jersey Womans Refuge
The Refuge is a safe house where women who experience domestic abuse can move into and have space to think clearly about their situation. Alternatively, women can come in to talk to a Support Worker in confidence about their situation. 

Rape Information for Women
Victim Support Jersey offer services that are confidential, free and available to anyone who's been raped or sexually assaulted, now or in the past. Some people can take years and years to build up the courage to report it – this is not unusual. If it is affecting your life you need to talk about it. We can help, regardless of whether you have told the police or anyone else about the attack.

Rape Information for Men
Victim Support Jersey recognise rape and sexual assault are particularly distressing crimes for the victim and the effects can last for a long time. And men can find this kind of attack difficult to deal with because this is widely, but wrongly, thought of as a crime that only affects women. Our services are confidential, free and available to anyone who's been raped or sexually assaulted, now or in the past. We can help, regardless of whether you have told the police or anyone else about the attack.

Mankind - Support for MEN affected by Sexual Violence
Since 2000 Mankind have been delivering specialist support services to men (18+) who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault at any time in their lives

Male Rape
Rape Crisis (England & Wales) have many centres providing services for male victims of rape and child sexual abuse. The facts are that most perpetrators of sexual violence are male and most victims are female; most sexual violence is committed by men known to the women and girls they abuse. However, Rape Crisis (England and Wales) acknowledges that boys and men are sexually assaulted and that some perpetrators of sexual assault are women. Rape Crisis (England & Wales) will listen and help you through your ordeal. 

Emotional Support
Samaritans is a confidential emotional support service for anyone in the UK and Ireland. The service is available 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.

Financial Fraud Action UK works in partnership with The UK Cards Association on industry initiatives to prevent fraud on credit and debit cards, with the Fraud Control Steering Group on non-cards fraud matters and the Cheque and Credit Clearing Company on credit clearing and cheque fraud.
